Architect Pathik Joshi graduated from Kamla Raheja Institute for Architecture, Mumbai (K.R.V.I.A) in the year 2011. He worked at MO-OF (Mobile offices) under the guidance of Architect Shantanu Poredi and Manisha Agarwal. During this time, he was involved in projects ranging from Educational campus planning, Social Housing, Holiday Homes and also office buildings. He was also a part of the winning team, of a national level architectural competition for the designing campus of ‘School of planning and architecture, Vijayawada’.
Subsequently he went to USA for his masters in Urban Design at University of Texas at Austin. During this time, he was involved in projects with “Texas Future Lab” an innovative urban design cell, under the mentorship of Ar. Dean Almy. At this lab he was involved in large urban rejuvenation projects, of which the most distinguished was “Rejuvenating Western Dallas”. He also worked at ‘Humphreys and Partners, Dallas” in their High Rise & Masterplanning team. Here he was involved in the designing of over 29 Highrise buildings with large campuses located in Teir 1 Cities of USA.
After working in USA, he came back to India and joined “Kalayojan LLP, architects and urban designers” as an Executive Director. His versatile international experience in architecture, materplanning and research has made him an integral part of “Kalayojan LLP”. He now is involved in city masterplanning, campus designs, Architectural and Urban Design works at Kalayojan LLP which are located in various parts of India and Africa.
Being Inquisitive nature himself, he strives to generate a sense of curiosity through his designs. Having travelled extensively across the world his designs reflect a deep understanding of different cultures and spaces.
