UYO Smart City Capital, Nigeria

The project was mainly about master planning of the capital city of Akwa Ibom state in Nigeria.

 

Converting the current Ring road 3 as a by-pass road, to reduce the traffic on main intercity highway. Six new sectors have been planned with a new proposed Ring road, connecting all developments. Multi modal transport hub and industrial belt for the growth of the city has also been proposed. A new green belt is proposed at the edge of the new development, as a green lung for the city.
